Child reports attempted kidnapping at Mililani bus stop

The incident at an undisclosed location was reported to police at 2:40 p.m.
The victim, whose age and sex was not disclosed, told police a man in his 20s stopped his vehicle at the bus stop and offered a ride.
When the child refused, the man allegedly got out and attempted to pull the victim into the vehicle by the arm. The child struck the suspect in the face to get free.
No arrests have been made in the case.
