No. 4 Kamehameha upsets No. 1 'Iolani

Wednesday's girls basketball results

Interscholastic League of Honolulu

No. 4 Kamehameha 53, No. 1 'Iolani 50

Analee Viena Lota scored 17 points to help the Warriors (8-2) upset the host Raiders (8-2).

Chanel Hirata led 'Iolani with 15 points. Kamehameha led 27-25 at halftime and both teams are now tied for first in the ILH.

Kamehameha 52, 'Iolani 43

Kapua Chandler scored 15 points and Zayne Nue Apiki scored 12 to lead the visiting Warriors (10-1) over the Raiders (7-4) in an ILH Division II game.

Allison Nojima scored 18 points in the loss.

O'ahu Interscholastic Association

No. 7 Kalani 49, Kahuku 47

The visiting Falcons (9-2) defeated the Red Raiders (3-8) in an OIA Red East game.

Farrington 60, Kalaheo 59, 2OT

Elaine Leaupepe made the game-winning basket with less than 20 seconds left to lift the visiting Governors past the Mustangs in an OIA Red East game.

Leaupepe and C'ani Kealoha each finished with 18 points for Farrington (8-4).

Shanadee Canon scored 16 points and Caira Pires added 15 for the Mustangs (5-6).

Kealoha's basket with 2 seconds left in regulation forced overtime with the score tied at 46.

In the first overtime, Leaupepe's jumper with less than 30 seconds left put Farrington ahead 50-48. But Pires' putback with 1 second left forced the second overtime.

Wai'anae 45, Waipahu 35

Danielle Lovell and Asioga Tago each scored 10 points as the Seariders (6-4) beat the Marauders (1-10) in an OIA White game.

Demi Samson had 16 in the loss.
