Rainbow Wahine rise to No. 14 in national softball poll

The University of Hawai'i softball team rose two spots to No. 14 its highest ranking of the season in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25, released today.The Rainbow Wahine (42-9) swept 2 of 3 from Western Athletic Conference rival Fresno State last week. The Bulldogs, who were ranked No. 25 last week, dropped out of the Top 25.
Hawai'i closes its regular season with a three-game series at Utah State starting Friday.
Tennessee (50-2) is No. 1, followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Arizona and Texas A&M.
