Mission Houses talk tomorrow on 19th-century beauty

"Not Just Another Pretty Face" is a free public lecture at 6 p.m. tomorrow at Mission Houses Museum's visitor center.
The talk by Elizabeth Nosek, associate curator of education with the Winterthur Museum & Country Estate in Winterthur, Del., is part of the "Larger Than Life: Portraits & Portrait Making" exhibit. Nosek will focus on how beauty was defined and what people used for cosmetics in the 19th century.
