HAWAI'I KAI, KAIMUKI
Two schools set recycle drives

Advertiser Staff

Two East Honolulu schools — Koko Head Elementary in Hawai'i Kai and Kaimuki High School — will hold recycling drives for HI-5¢ cans and bottles this weekend.

Recyclers can drop off cans and bottles from 7 to 10 a.m. Friday in front of Koko Head Elementary School and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in front of Kaimuki High School.

Koko Head uses money earned from recycling drives to pay for a physical education teacher, for enrichment drama and music programs.

Money earned at Kaimuki High School goes to support the Red Cross Club, which teaches CPR and first-aid classes.
