Rough Riders remain unbeaten in OIA, 33-23

Iwalani Rodrigues scored 14 points and Tasia Kamakawiwo'ole added 10, leading the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to a 33-23 victory over the Moanalua Na Menehune last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red Conference East Division game.

Roosevelt, ranked No. 2 in The Advertiser's state poll, trailed 14-12 at halftime, then outscored Moanalua 12-2 in the third quarter for a 24-16 lead to improve for 11-0.

Moanalua fell to 2-9.
