Advertiser Staff
The decrease in trade winds has also meant a decrease in surf, with today's forecast by the National Weather Service calling for surf 3 to 5 feet along eastern shores.Surf will drop to 2 to 4 feet along northern shores and be 1 to 3 feet along west and south shores.
A smaller northwest swell will arrive tonight and peak Friday with surf well below advisory heights. Surf along east-facing shores will decrease through early next week as trade winds weaken. Small south swells will continue off and on through the period.
