Swimmer found dead after hit by wave on Big Island

A swimmer who was struck by a big wave was later found floating face down by rescuers, the Hawai'i County Fire Department said last night.His body was extricated by Chopper 1 and remains in police custody. No identification has been released yet.
The incident was called in by bystanders at Kehena Bay around noon yesterday.
