Girl, 15, escapes kidnap attempt in Mililani

The girl told police the attempted kidnapping occurred at a bus stop on Meheula Parkway and Hikikaulia Street near Mililani High School at 2:20 p.m.
The man stopped and offered the girl a ride but when she refused, he got out and tried to pull her into the car by the arm, said HPD CrimeStoppers coordinator Sgt. Kim Buffett.
The man released his grip when the girl slapped him in the face.
Buffett said the car could be a Nissan Maxima.
