Windward areas continue to get brunt of rain

Showery low clouds embedded in the trade winds continue to bring rain to the windward areas of the islands, the National Weather Service said. Most of the rain is across Maui and Kaua'i.

Today: Partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 75 to 82. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 75 to 82. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday Night: Mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
