Small swell brings best surf to northern shores

Advertiser Staff

A small northwest swell is expected to peak today at 4 feet to 8 feet along northern shores, the National Weather Service said.

West-facing shores will see surf 3 feet to 5 feet, while surf along east shores will drop to 2 feet to 4 feet and surf along southern shores remains at 1 foot to 3 feet.

Surf along east-facing shores will decrease through early next week as trade winds weaken. Small south swells will continue off and on through the period. Another moderate northwest swell will likely arrive late Tuesday and continue through Wednesday.
