Mid-Pacific advances in ILH baseball

Russell Doi, Easton Torigoe, Robert Dittrick and Seob Yoon drove in two runs apiece to help Mid-Pacific eliminate Damien from the Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball tournament yesterday, 12-9.

Dittrick and Yoon each had three hits for the Owls (10-5). Brennan Alejo had three hits for the Monarchs (5-9), and Bryson Namba hit a home run.

The Buffanblu (13-0) scored the winning run on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Warriors (7-7) in a game that was suspended Wednesday night due to darkness and completed yesterday.
