Bus hits Canadian boy in Waikiki

A visitor from Canada was seriously injured this morning after he was struck by a city bus, police said.The victim, a boy believed to be between 9 and 11 years old, was taken in serious condition to The Queen's Medical Center, police said.
The accident happened about 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Kapahulu and Kuhio avenues.
Police were investigating how the accident happened, and did not have more details. A representative from TheBus could not be reached.
