The Makaha Sons headline benefit for Hina Mauka

The Makaha Sons headline a free concert titled "Music By the Mountains" from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today at the Koolau Center, 47-388 Hui 'Iwa St., across from the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.

The schedule includes the reggae group Pressure Drop (11 a.m.) and comic Frank DeLima (12:30-1:30 p.m.), with Barry Kimokeo and The Makaha Sons finishing out the concert. It's a benefit for Hina Mauka, an addiction rehab facility. Donations are welcome; bring lawn chairs and umbrellas. 739-2112.
