Weather expected to get wetter into the new week

Moderate trade winds will continue through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.Scattered showers will move ashore mostly along slopes facing the north and east coastlines, forecasters said. A few of the showers may drift leeward.
Wetter trades are expected to develop by the middle of the week.
