Man, 22, killed in SUV crash on H-2 identified

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office today tentatively identified the 'Ewa Beach man killed yesterday in a one-vehicle crash in Mililani as Gerald J.V. Saramosing, 22, but announced later that confirmation of the identity is pending.An autopsy today listed cause of death as multiple traumatic injury/thermal injury and manner as accidental.
Final confirmation of the burned body is expected shortly.
Police said the man killed lost control of his speeding 2004 GMC Envoy sport utility vehicle on the H-2 Freeway near the Pineapple Road overpass and hit a tree about 3:35 a.m. yesterday.
