Two women arrested for 2006 kidnapping

Police today arrested two women in connection with a four-month-old investigation into the alleged kidnapping, robbery and beating of a 34-year-old woman in Wai'anae.

The victim suffered "substantial bodily injury," according to police.

The two women arrested, ages 36 and 30, were identified by the victim and located today. Both were booked at the Kapolei Police Station for kidnapping, second-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

The older woman was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and the other at 6:55 p.m.

Two other suspects remain at large.

The victim told police she was forced into a vehicle on Nov. 25, 2006 at 11 p.m. by four women, who beat and robbed her.
