In the first game, Tracy Ryan and Sarah Weisskopf teamed on a five-hitter, and Zoie Sevilla's bunt with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the seventh resulted in a fielding error that scored the game's lone run as Hilo (40-11) edged HPU (32-14). HPU's Sherise Musquiz pitched a four-hitter.
