No Hawaii tsunami threat from Aleutian quake

No widespread tsunami threat was generated by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake in the Aleutian Islands, according to a Pacific Tsunami Warning Center bulletin issued at about 5:45 p.m. today.The earthquate occurred at 5:22 p.m., Hawai'i time, in the Andreanof Islands.
