U.S. hotel revenue rose in week ended July 28

U.S. hotels' revenue per available room rose 7.4 percent in the week that ended July 28, according to Bloomberg News.The news service said RevPar, which is based on average occupancy and room rates, rose to $89.03 during the week and compared to $82.90 in the week a year earlier.
It said occupancy rose to 83.7 percent from 82.6 percent. The average daily room rate was up 6 percent to $106.37.
