Siren, emergency alert system testing today

The state Civil Defense will conduct its monthly testing of its outdoor warning system, coordinated with the live audio broadcast segment of the Emergency Alert System, at 11:45 a.m. today.A steady 45-second tone will be used to alert the public about emergencies posing threat of life or property.
