Online lifestyle site launches in Hawaii

Mixed Plate Special, a new online lifestyle magazine, announced its official launch today.It hopes to showcase Hawai'i's arts and culture, outdoors, food, music, film, writing and photography.
Online media "offers a paradigm shift" that makes storytelling more accessible to readers, who will be allowed to submit work for the site, said editor Catharine Lo, in a statement.
