How to get book published

Advertiser Staff

The 'Aiea Public Library will host a free workshop, "How to Get Your Book Published," led by local author and book consultant Rich Budnick.

The one-hour workshop, which begins at 7 p.m. tomorrow, will include a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of self-publishing and how to earn a profit. Budnick will also discuss how to find a printer and distributor, how to get your book into stores and other issues.

Budnick is the author of "Hawaii's Forgotten History," "Stolen Kingdom" and other books. He's also the founder of the Honolulu Writers Conference.
