Isle prep baseball stars to play Japan

Twelve Advertiser All-State first-team selections, including Player of the Year Harrison Ishida, are among 27 players who will compete in the annual Hawai'i-Japan Goodwill series Aug. 18 and 19 at Hans L'Orange Park in Waipahu.
Game times are 2 p.m. each day. Each game is nine innings.
The Hawai'i team is made up of recent high school graduates, and incoming juniors and seniors. Japan's team will have a similar makeup.
