Primer on early music set for Saturday at UH

Kids and their parents are invited to a primer on early music Saturday at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.The free event will run from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Orvis Auditorium.
The interactive performance, which will include participants learning a dance, will feature the music of Bach and earlier played on the viola de gamba.
The event is part of the first-ever Pan-Pacific Gamba Gathering, which started July 27 and runs through Sunday.
