Advertiser Staff

A registered sex offender was indicted today by an O'ahu grand jury on nine felony counts related to the sexual abuse of two young children from Jan.1 to June 30 of this year.

Today's indictment of Orson Guy Kihaapiilani Wilcox, 53, of Wahiawa, canceled the need for a scheduled preliminary hearing at District Court today.

Wilcox is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail. He is accused of four counts of first-degree sex assault on a young girl and five counts of third-degree sex assault on a boy.

The grand jury today also indicted Maxie Jonathan Quitog Jr., 47, who is accused of four counts of first-degree sex assault, two counts of kidnapping, three counts of third-degree sex assault and two drug offenses, including third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

Quitog's bail is $200,000.

Quitog allegedly kidnapped and attacked a Kane'ohe woman from July 21-25.
