Hiroshima Peace Bell ceremony scheduled for Monday

Children from Nu'uanu YMCA will place 1,001 paper cranes on the Hiroshima Peace Bell Monday in a ceremony commemorating the 62nd anniversary of the atomic bomb drop on Hiroshima.The ceremony at Izumo Taishakyo Mission at 215 North Kukui Street begins at 11:30 a.m. and is hosted by the Hiroshima Commemoration and Peace Committee.
