Vino holds Wine & Food workshop Aug. 9

Vino at Restaurant Row will hold a Wine & Food workshop on from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 9. Master sommelier Chuck Furuya emphasizes that it's not dinner.At the 45-minute workshop, participants will sample two appetizers and six wines three served for each appetizer.
You get to taste what works and what doesn't and learn why.
The interactive (and irreverent) event is a good, casual and fun way to learn about the inexact science of pairing wine and food.
The event is limited to one table 12 seats.
Cost: $39 per person (not including tax and tip).
