Vino holds Wine & Food workshop Aug. 9

Vino at Restaurant Row will hold a Wine & Food workshop on from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 9. Master sommelier Chuck Furuya emphasizes that it's not dinner.At the 45-minute workshop, participants will sample two appetizers and six wines — three served for each appetizer.
You get to taste what works and what doesn't — and learn why.
The interactive (and irreverent) event is a good, casual and fun way to learn about the inexact science of pairing wine and food.
The event is limited to one table — 12 seats.
Cost: $39 per person (not including tax and tip).
