Prosecutors have charged a 27-year-old Kalihi man with first-degree burglary, second-degree robbery and first-degree terroristic threatening.

Jerome Conrad Kealoha Jr. is being held today at the main police station cellblock in lieu of $75,000 bail pending an initial appearance tomorrow at District Court.

Kealoha, who has eight prior convictions, was arrested Tuesday following a two-hour barricade situation at a relative's residence at 3430 Salt Lake Boulevard in Aliamanu that forced the closure of the roadway to traffic between Likini and Wanaka streets from 10:10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Kealoha is charged with allegedly forcing his way into the North King Street apartment of his pregnant former girlfriend at 6:20 p.m. Monday, slapping and threatening to kill her, and stealing items from the apartment, according to an affidavit filed yesterday at District Court.
