HIFF's K-Fest opens Aug. 24, tickets on sale Aug. 17

The Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF) opens its third annual Korean film festival, or K-Fest, with the romantic comedy "The Perfect Couple" at noon on Aug. 24 at the Regal Dole Cannery theaters.Seven other films round out the four-day program: "My Tutor Friend 2," "Miracle on 1st Street," "My Son," "Voice of a Murderer," "For Horowitz," "A Millionaire's First Love" and "Highway Star."
Tickets go on sale Aug. 17 and are available for sale by phone (550-8457), online (www.hiff.org), or in person at Regal Dole Cannery Theaters' guest services counter one hour prior to first showing of the day.
Prices: $10 for members, $9 for students, seniors and military
