Aiona to present 3 proclamations at Capitol today

Lt. Gov. James Aiona will present three proclamations this afternoon on the state Capitol grounds.The proclamations include: declaring August as prostate-cancer awareness month; promoting a day for children to turn off TVs; and recognizing volunteers in Kalihi for organizing a late-night basketball league intended to serve, in part, as a neighborhood crime deterrent.
The 2 p.m. presentation will be held at the Capitol's executive chambers.
