Tennis: Lam ousted in second round by Venus

Honolulu's Chris Lam, seeded fifth at the $10,000 Ursula Beck Classic, was upset by American Michael Venus today in the second round. Scores were 6-3, 7-5.The USTA Pro Circuit event is being played in Decatur, Ill.
Lam opens play in the $10,000 Palmen Motors Futures on Tuesday in Milwaukee.
