DOWNTOWN
NAMI walk for mental health

Advertiser Staff

The National Alliance on Mental Illness, a mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by mental illnesses, will host a Hawai'i walk on Saturday.

The walk will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning and finishing at Honolulu Hale. The Royal Hawaiian Band will provide music.

Prospective participants should register ahead of time, but they also may register on the spot, organizers said.

For more information, or to donate or sponsor a walker or the walk itself, call Jim Mihalke at 561-7843 or visit www.nami.org.
