Hilo wins pool at Seniors regional

Kolten Wong hit a grand slam and Jeremy Crivello allowed an unearned run in five innings as Hilo beat San Jose, Calif., 7-2, yesterday to remain undefeated and wrap up Pool B at the Little League Seniors (ages 14-16) West Regional at Salem, Ore.

Hilo (3-0) has a pool play game tomorrow against Emmett, Idaho.

Hilo is assured of being the No. 1 seed in Pool B, and will play against the No. 2 seed from Pool A on Monday.
