Hoike takes minority stake in Century Computers

Information technology services company Hoike Technology today announced that it acquired a minority interest in Century Computers Inc., creating the largest Hawai'i-based networking services group, according to Hoike.

As part of the transaction, Hoike's networking services team of eight employees will be merged with the 72 employees of Century Computers and work out of CCI's offices in Restaurant Row.

Hoike Technology is a subsidiary of Island Holdings Inc., which has $500 million in assets and owns Island Insurance Company Ltd. Honolulu-based Century Computers is an information technology services company founded in 1983. The company provides a range of business services to companies throughout Hawai'i.
