Kids blessing event set for Sunday in Kalihi

The Hawai'i Kotohira Jinsha-Hawai'i Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine in Kalihi will bless kids on Sunday to start the new school year on a positive note.The blessing will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1239 Olomea St. The event is free and open to the public.
