Military appreciation party to be held at Chaminade

Chaminade University, the Counseling and Spiritual Care Center of Hawaii and the Hawaii Association of International Buddhists will present an "Appreciation Party" to welcome back members of the military service at 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Ching Conference Center, 2nd floor of Eiben Hall, Chaminade University, 3140 Waialae Ave.
The free event includes a light dinner and information on "Project Reconnect."
Free parking will be available on campus in the lot next to the Mystical Rose Oratory.
