Not much going on with the surf for now

Advertiser Staff

Mid-summer surf conditions will prevail today, which is to say there's not much happening anywhere on O'ahu.

Trade-wind generated surf along east-facing shores tops the list of what to expect, with surf of 2 to 4 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere, the surf is expect to reach 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores; 2 feet or less along west-facing shores and will likely be flat along the north-facing shores, forecasters said.

No significant new swells are expected through Thursday, forecasters said.
