Surf likely to be on the skimpy side the rest of the week

There won't be much surf to speak of today except along east-facing shores where it will likely reach 2 to 4 feet, according to the National Weather Service.Elsewhere, the surf today will be 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores, 2 feet or less along west-facing shores and flat to a foot along north-facing shores.
No significant new swells are expected through Friday.
