Repaving project to slow night traffic on Ala Moana

HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of lane closures in both directions on Ala Moana Boulevard, from South Street to Ward Avenue, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly beginning tonight through Friday morning, Aug. 10.One to two lanes in either direction will be closed for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
