By Rod Ohira

An autopsy tomorrow on a 27-year-old woman will try to determine cause and manner of death, but police are investigating the shooting as a possible homicide.

"There are suspicious circumstances that more than likely indicate it's a homicide," Lt. Bill Kato, head of Honolulu police homicide investigations, said today.

No one has been arrested.

The medical examiner's office has not identified the victim, but George Ormeno told The Advertiser on Saturday that the woman found dead yesterday in a Kaimuki apartment at 2920 South King St. was his wife, Trina Marie Ormeno. He said he and his wife were separated.

The body was found by a roommate at 7:45 a.m.

She had beens shot in the chest, and a handgun was found at the scene. It was not known if that gun was used in her shooting.
