A suspected methamphetamine dealer arrested Wednesday at an illegal gaming operation in a Pi'ikoi Street apartment is to make his initial appearance tomorrow at District Court.

Be Huynh, 34, of an Eheu Street address, was charged Thursday with first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

His initial appearance Friday was continued to tomorrow due to a language barrier. Bail for Huynh, who is Vietnamese, is $40,000.

Central Honolulu Crime Reduction Unit officers arrested Huynh and said they seized about two ounces of crystal methamphetamine at a gambling operation at 629 Pi'ikoi St.

Police seized five 25-cent slot-type devices called "fruit machines" from the bedroom of the apartment where Huynh was arrested.
