North Shore Festival announced for November

This year's North Shore Festival, traditionally the opener for the big wave season with its series of prestigious surfing competitions, is set for Nov. 10 and 11 at Haleiwa Beach Park.The event includes feature films, live music and cultural performances plus food vendors, arts and crafts booths, community displays and a Keiki Village. It runs from noon to 10 p.m. each day and attendance is free.
