Wilson 77th, McLachlin 154th in PGA FedExCup points

Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson moved down a spot to No. 77 in the PGA's FedExCup points standings after his 12th place finish yesterday in the Reno-Tahoe Open.Wilson, who has earned $936,641 in 21 tournaments this year, has has 3,980 points. Tiger Woods, with four victories this season, leads the points standings with 25,624. He has earned $6,564,385 in 12 tournaments. Woods won the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational yesterday.
Honolulu's Parker McLachlin, who finished 37th at Reno, remained No. 154 with 1,307 points. He has earned $303,032 in 20 tournaments.
Points go toward seeding for the PGA's first FedExCup playoffs, which begin Aug. 23. The top 144 players at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs.
