HALE'IWA
Firm is paying to cover graffiti

Advertiser Staff

North Shore Shark Adventures is sponsoring a Graffiti Busters program and wants people to call when they see a marking.

Company owner Joe Pavsek said he's assigned one of his employees to cover any graffiti from Mokule'ia to Kahuku. The company will pay for the paint and painter, who will try to match the color of the wall or building he is working on, Pavsek said.

He said he decided to take on the project after his wall was tagged.

The painter goes out three to five days a week, depending on the need, he said. The idea is to paint out the graffiti right away.

To report graffiti, call 221-1794.
