Roadwork on stretch of Farrington closes single lanes

Advertiser Staff

Single lanes in both directions of Farrington Highway, from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway, will continue to be closed until Friday.

Transportation officials will install pedestrian crossing signals and complete striping work, according to a press release issued by the state Department of Transportation.

Motorists should expect closures in the west-bound direction from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the east-bound direction, a lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Transportation officials advise motorists to take caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
