Three men were arrested by police investigating a mugging early today on Ke'eaumoku Street near Makiki District Park.

Police arrested the trio at about 2:30 a.m. and allegedly found one of them in possession of property stolen from a man who said he was attacked by five men while walking home.

The complainant, 19, told police he was robbed of his watch, wallet, car keys and cellular phone.

Two of the suspects are 19 years old while the third is 18. All were booked on suspicion of second-degree assault.

One of the older suspects, an Auwaiolimu Street resident, also was booked on suspicion of third-degree theft.
