The Hawai'i Department of Agriculture will hold an open meeting to discuss issues involving management and services of the Moloka'i Irrigation System.

The Moloka'i community is welcome and encouraged to attend. Representatives from the department and members of the Moloka'i Irrigation System Water Users Advisory Board will also be present. Subsequent meetings will be held in September and October.

The Aug. 18 meeting, set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be held at the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands Ho'olehua Lanikeha Recreation Center.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by Monday by calling Byron Alcos at the Moloka'i Irrigation Office, 567-6891. If the message recorder is on, please leave your name and the number of people who will accompany you to the meeting.
