Starwood, Travel Channel pair up on in-room content

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, the hotel company that has Sheraton and Westin hotels in Hawai'i, said it has entered a two-year marketing agreement with the Travel Channel.Under it the cable network will develop content for two in-room networks that will be shown in Westin, Sheraton, W and Four Points By Sheraton hotels in the U.S. The first channel, Travel Channel on the Road," will have themed material developed exclusively for it and featuring programs hosted by television personalities.
Starwood said its existing "Starwood Preferred Guest" channel will be included in the collaboration, and receive travel news and insider destination features developed by the cable network.
