Free immunizations available to qualifying Hawaii keiki

Free immunizations are provided to Hawai'i children who do not have health insurance, or who are enrolled in Medicaid (Quest), or have health insurance that does not cover vaccinations.
On average, more than 200,000 doses annually are administered under the federal Vaccines for Children program, according to the state Department of Health.
The vaccinations include diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis; haemophilus influenzae type b; hepatitis A and B; measles, mumps and rubella; inactivated influenza; live intranasal influenza; meningococcal; pneumococcal conjugate; pneumococcal polysaccharidepolio; tetanus and diphtheria; and varicella (chicken pox).
